Simon Says Language

Q. has been cracking me up lately. She has been carrying around a cell phone (case for an ipod) and talking to her husband "Steve." She tells Steve, "I just don't know what to do with these babies. I've tried everything like funny faces, bottles, and rocking them. They just won't stop crying." It is so fun to listen to her. The other night I was watching, "The Amazing Race," and Q. came in while I was watching it. They have a deaf boy on the show this year and Q. asked what he was doing with his hands. I told her that is the way he talks to people-it's called sign language. She said, "Well, I can do Simon Says Language." And she started mimicking his hand movements and clicking her tongue. I guess she has created her own special language.
