Don't Trick the Tooth Fairy
G. just lost his second tooth. We waited a while for it to come out. It was a stubborn little tooth and the new one was already in behind it. It was just hanging on and G. wanted the money so he decided he would trick the tooth fairy. He was going to put a rock in an envelope and put it under his pillow. I told him it wasn't a good idea because the tooth fairy can not be fooled. That same night the stubborn little tooth decided to come out. G. put it under his pillow and when he woke the next morning he came in and said, "I think the tooth fairy is mad at me for thinking about tricking her because she only left me a dollar." (That is the going rate for teeth around here -he got $3.00 last time because it was his first tooth.) So G. won't be attempting any more tricks.
