Determined

Q. asked me on the way to soccer practice this morning if it hurts to not have holes in your ears. I didn't quite know where she was going with this but said no. Then she said she wanted her ears pierced. The girl was determined to get it done. When we went in to the jewlery store the lady asked me how she does with shots and I said, "not good, but we'll see how it goes." She had to have each ear done seperately but she didn't cry, make a comment, or even flinch. I was so proud of her. I was actually wondering where this brave child was during flu shot season. The lady that pierced her ears was great. She told me to get the camera ready before she brought out the mirror. This picture is the first time Q. saw herself with pierced ears. Preparing the ears
