A Good Attempt

So I decided to start having Family Home Evening. We had our first family night on Monday. We needed some house rules so we sat down and made a list. The kids really got into making the list. In fact, I had to stop them because they were making so many rules I don't know how they would even breathe without getting into trouble. Then we made up some consequences for breaking rules. Q.'s were pretty funny-my favorite was to call the police whenever they break a rule so they have to go to jail. The next thing we did was watch Q. perform an original song. We went wrong somewhere with this girl. She was supposed to sing a Primary song and it ended up being a song about a dead ballerina. After Q. it was G.'s turn. He also made up a song -his was actually a rap and was pretty good. The night ended with daddy's homemade brownies. I guess it was a good attempt. We laughed alot. We'll see how next week goes....
